Yes we're back! We are re-listing this car due to the previous auctions being "PHISHED" and Stolen by Swindlers and listed up with a low purchase price. This is the real deal - real auction - real car.

Trans: automatic
Interior: black
VIN#6T09K134562
Exterior: red
You're viewing a true GT Hipo Fastback, which has undergone a major restoration that includes an
extensive engine and transmission rebuild. Rare model built with the C-4 automatic. Its authenticity is
documented by factory original build plate on the passenger inner fender panel, and its original door trim
tag. Engine rebuilt by Jasper and has very few miles on an expensive overhaul that includes solid lifters,
of course, and hardened valve seats to permit today's low-octane gasoline.
The high-performance engine combined with its 9-inch differential and a 3:50 axle ration makes this
factory sleeper light 'em up--or be surprisingly smooth. Your manipulation of the throttle determines your
performance destiny. And, gas mileage. Yes, it goes. And it stops, thanks to the factory disc brakes on
front. Handles well, too, due to the quick-steering ratio and the Shelby-like heavy duty suspension. New
shocks fore and aft help the ride even more. No power steering, no power brakes. Yet it does turn easily
enough, and was never intended to have the flimsy, leaky power steering with which the non-performance
models came. Don't think for a minute, though, that the C-4 automatic holds her back. Quite the contrary.
In heavy stop-and-go traffic, the C-4 is a pleasure...as opposed to the factory stiff clutches that came
with the 4-speed models that render your left foot officially dead in congestion.
Factory dual exhaust with glasspacks is, in itself, a delight to hear. It breathes. Very healthy, especially
with those solid lifters chattering in harmony to sound like fine music to an auto afficionado's ear. Like a symphony,
waiting for the crescendo. As stated, the original C5AE-6015E engine was rebuilt by Jasper. Not cheap, either,
but Jasper engines are famous for running strong and lasting forever. And they usually include a few additional
horsepower and torque. Yes, this car starts up easily and will boogie! Cranks up with a few pumps after sitting
for weeks or months at a time. Yep, I'm guilty as charged. Far too many cars. That's why this Candy Apple Red
fastback is on the auction block. Also has original #19 and 21 heads, exhaust manifolds and a vintage Shelby
high-rise aluminum intake manifold. New radiator and shroud, new chrome, new emblems, new upholstery, new fuel tank,
brake lines and much more. Fresh black Pony interior, woodgrain dash, console, and glovebox.
Like most Ford small blocks with good radiators, this one runs very cool--even on a hot day.
Painted about two years ago. Body is straight with good body lines. Had professional full-length floor pans
professionally installed and numerous coats of red oxide applied over the inside and underside. All gauges function
properly, as do lights. Doors were lubed internally so that windows roll up and down as they should. Originally
coded for black "standard" plain-Jane interior, this one now is upgraded to "Pony" all the way--including new seat
foam, console, deluxe gauges. Car needs nothing, except someone to drive and nurture this gem--and watch its
value increase versus decrease like stocks, CDs and most other investments now. Previous owner inherited the
fastback from his father, and performed a quickie restoration on it in the early '90s. In the past three years,
about $17,000 was spent to bring it to its current level. This is a very fine driver. Mechanically and cosmetically
sharp. But not a $100.000 trailer queen headed for Pebble Beach. Yet, this is priced at one third of the Pebble
Beach 100-point car. Also, an expensive, never-installed Pony freshly rebuilt #s-correct carburetor and an
original #s dual-point distributor will accompany this K-code fastback to its new owner...at the buy-it-now price.
Good luck bidding. My home telly is (714) 848-9255 should you have questions...that I shall try to answer.
The car is located in Surf City, California.
Please no trade offers. This car is for SALE only, Thank you.
