E-Bay Listing: 65 K Fastback
GENERAL: This is my personal car, not part of the dealer inventory. I list cars on ebay for Schaefer and Strohminger and am using the listing service for convenience. But this transaction is in no way associated with Schaefer and Strohminger.
This is the real deal. A 1965 Mustang GT Fastback 2+2 equipped with the most desirable K code engine, 289 CID with 271 HP, and factory 4 speed transmission. This is one of the rarest and most collectible Mustangs available. It is extremely difficult to find any nice fastback, let alone one that is a true GT, and a true K code. We have owned her for several years and she has gotten little use. It is an older restoration, but the paint really shines and the interior is in good shape. I would rate it about 8.5 on a 10 point scale.
EXTERIOR: The exterior is finished in poppy red, looks orange, and is in very good condition. The chrome is in very nice condition as are the rally wheels. There is some very minor pitting in the door handles and the rear tail light chrome. And this is a factory GT, enhanced by the fog lights in the grill, trumpet exhaust pipes through the rear valance, and GT rocker panel stripes.
INTERIOR: The interior is trimmed in white and is also in very good condition. Not perfect, but very presentable. Aftermarket instruments have been added, but it would not be a big deal to replace with original, if desired. The mileage shown on the original odometer was less than 60k. I believe that this is the true mileage, but have no way to verify. The carpeting is new. The headliner, seats, and dash are in very good condition.
DRIVETRAIN: Power is provided by the most desirable engine available, the original factory K code 289 CID with solid lifers. 271 HP. The engine is coupled with the correct 4 speed manual transmission and a 9 inch rear. This is the engine chosen by Carroll Shelby as the foundation for the 1965 and 1966 Shelby Mustangs and the original 289 Cobra. Awesome power. Sounds great through the dual trumpet exhaust.
So if you are in the market for a true collectible, bid with confidence. We have set a very reasonable reserve, and will entertain all serious offers.

Lots more pic's on the e-bay listing, I'm not having any luck getting them to save.
