Thanks for the uplift guys. It really hit me today, after the funds got transferred. I was in a 'meloncholy' state for a while. But, I know she is going to a good home. And hopefully I can get a new fun DD.

Beagle - Sorry to hear it man. It was definitely not a fun time for me. BUT, in the end, it was the best decision.

Well after months of trying to sell Black beauty. It looks like the time has arrived. She is going up to vancouver to a gentleman that has great plans for her. no one has a K-code GT in his area, let alone in his stang club. So he is quite excited to get it. He also plans to get her top notch by spring. He is also promising to keep me up to date on how she is doing.

Who knows. Maybe when I am ready, he will be in a position to sell her back...<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

And NO, you can NOT count your lucky stars. I still plan on annoying you all.<img src=images/icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>

He had in ebay before with a different air cleaner. Apparently, he found a rusty old 352 air cleaner on some Galaxie and put it on, just to make a look real. Yeah, right...

    Didn't realize that.

    Sheesh, what a CROOK.

Have a Q for PonyGT as well as others. Are your stripes factory?

It was my understanding GT stripes are to match the interior color?

I know a gentleman, that has owned his all original K Code GT Fastback, 65 I think, Gray with black standard interior with red stripes. He swears thats original and I have always cocked an eyebrow at that. He is a very honest and trustyworthy guy, 72yrs old, just sold his 66GT350H a few months ago.

Now I see PonyGT has white Int, with red stripes also. Any rules to this? What have you guys seen? Won't be the first time I have been wrong...

My interior is black standard. I have seen more white stripes than red, on a black GT. I never looked into it. With so many 'variables' I didn't think it was a priority.....and I liked the Red stripe better than the white, so I wasnt' goign to complain. <img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Looks like a nice car....my favorite color. However, according to the VIN this car was built in early Oct. of '64.....before the GT or Pony interior was offered. Still, 30K sounds pretty good.

    <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>

??? Has the vin on this car changed?? According to the ad, the build date is 18Q which is March 18, 1965 (which is still pre-GT). Interestingly enough, in the 3rd edition of the "K Bible" it sits between 2 03K unit numbers which is October 3, 1964 as stated. So has the seller put down the wrong Date code? I'm confused as to how someone could put in wrong numbers in an ad.

Production for the GTs started with build dates of late feb. 65. They were not released (available for sale) until the 1-year 'april' anniv.

Mike (65K09) - can you post some pics of mine off of your site?? I dont' have a way to do it....maybe the infamous "twins" pic? LOL

Epperstang - I have seen a few articles on your car. Not my cup of tea, but very nice nonetheless

Moneymaker - You car looks slow.

Qman - Let me know if you need that Paxton out of your garage....I will take it off of your hands.

For Sale at least SIX times in the last three years. Me thinks something's wrong with this car.

Whatever do you mean? That data plate is completely original.<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Don't get me wrong, this car sounds great. Especially with all of the paperwork and early shelby items. But I am sorry, without the K motor, I can't see how it is worth 39K, OR 36K without the shelby items. Original docs help with value, but 36K for a car missing one of the most important things.....I just can't see it.

Again, sounds like a beautiful car, just not for the money asking.

    Quite simple actually.

#1 - yes, there are THAT many crooks out there (or unknowledged, but a liar or deceiver took part) that we have to keep our eyes open. Do you honestly think there were this many 65-66 Factory GT's?

#2 - I dont' see alot of what our feedback is, is criticizing or belittling. I see it as trying to keep the truth out there as much as possible. How many of us would have, or could have, walked right into the purchase of a fake K?

    Just my 2 cents.
