• Well after months of trying to sell Black beauty. It looks like the time has arrived. She is going up to vancouver to a gentleman that has great plans for her. no one has a K-code GT in his area, let alone in his stang club. So he is quite excited to get it. He also plans to get her top notch by spring. He is also promising to keep me up to date on how she is doing.

Who knows. Maybe when I am ready, he will be in a position to sell her back...

And NO, you can NOT count your lucky stars. I still plan on annoying you all.

  • Though its one I know you wish you did not have to make, congratulations on finally making the sale - hope you did end up getting a fair price for it. It is a beautiful car and it sounds like the new owner knows and appreciates what he purchased.

  • Sorry you had to sell, and at the same time happy it worked out for you.

I could be in the same postion in about a month though...Bad News finally came out of F*** that will most likely eliminate my wife's job

Might have to sell the K to get her new job training and pay bills, as she is >50% of our household income.

  • Thanks for the uplift guys. It really hit me today, after the funds got transferred. I was in a 'meloncholy' state for a while. But, I know she is going to a good home. And hopefully I can get a new fun DD.

Beagle - Sorry to hear it man. It was definitely not a fun time for me. BUT, in the end, it was the best decision.

  • The up side is that you had the car to sell in the first place. Years ago I had to sell my baby a, GT 350 convert. Selling the car allowed me to keep my house and shop where I restored cars as a hobby. I hope things work out for you.
