• This Kar is the perfect example of the donor car argument.Which I don't agree with but understand both sides.

Is there a point when a car is too far gone?

This kar may be at that point.

  • The seller's unwillingness to disclose the VIN or show any photos of them makes it pretty tough to be seriously interested (for anyone that might be). He could, at least, make a case for it being the real deal by showing all three VINs if they're intact.

But when does it stop being the real deal.Aside from the vin(asuming it's there) there is not one HIPO item remaining on this car and not many usable mustang parts either.

  • But all the removable parts , those that attach but are not a part of the chassis, ARE replaceable... and if the bones that ARE identifiable

are there, then, replacing the attachable parts to the " repaired " tub leaves you with a HIPO, right? Charles, would you weigh in here please?<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • I love his "idea" of what it is worth!

I almost sent hima $1.00 "Best Offer" just to be a jerk.....but restrained myself.

It appears this car is tweaked so hard and missing so much stuff you would be better off looking for something else - I doubt anything could be done to save it unless you just want to waste money......it ain't worth $7500 and THATS FOR SURE!

You'd be WAY better off just buying a DYNACORN Fastback at this point.

    But can you GET a '65/'66 dynacorn? oh <img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • No not yet......but the '67/'68 shell is way better than a rusty / tweaked original shell.

Would be close enough for me if I was building a car from scratch.

  • $2500 start and still a reserve.

If the seller is serious about selling, they would remove it from the woods, clean all the debris out of it and put up some decent pictures. As the car sits, I doubt very many folks would even give $500 for it.

One Bid, so I guess we know a vin is worth at least $2500.

  • RECOMMENDED TEMPLATE: Sold for <b>final sale price</b> by seller

    BuyItNow set at <b>bin price</b>(also post BIN if there is one for comparison) <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>description here<hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>

I think there are many more cars out there that have been built with VINs from stuff like this than we know.

Someone, somewhere is going to buy the VIN off this car and get a title somehow and then either build a car from scratch or put the Vins on a car that already exists-this is the reason we often see poorly re-bodied Ks pop up from time to time.
