• Not sure if its a real K but this came up on the radar.

Lots of questions to be asked, starting with VIN.

1965 Ford Mustang GT Fastback | 53,000 Original Miles

Stunning to Look At | Wicked to Drive

    Overview

Just the other day, a passerby looked at the GT and then at me. “Stunning,” is the only word he said - it’s the only word he needed to say. Each time I’ve driven this Mustang, people shoot me an enthusiastic thumbs up; roll – down their window to hear the exhaust note or comment on the Fastback’s allure. Each time I’ve driven this GT, it exhilarates me.

Offered is a truly remarkable Fastback – whiplash fast and killer to look at. There is no disappointment with this example.

Note: take a close look at the photos. The reflection of the buildings and parking lot are evident detailing the paintwork’s mirror finish.

  • Mike

You are one number short on the VIN. I am surprised that it is even an "A" code car. The only thing on the engine that I can see that makes it a Hipo is..................nothing!

    -Fred-

65 Koupe early San Jose Phoenician Yellow 4 speed
66 GT Koupe Dearborn Blue 4 speed
66 KGT San Jose fastback pony interior Silver Frost 4 speed
    64 Falcon sedan delivery 289 4 speed
    65 Ranchero 289 4 speed
    66 Corvette roadster 427/425 4 speed

  • Sorry about missing the last digit - now I have misplaced it - NBD, as it is not a HiPo.

Seller sent me more pix - The ones in the ad were the best - underside looks like someone rolled tar on it to cover up a bunch of issues, exhaust straps bolt direct to body, other sins as well.

  • According to the VIN the build date should be in September of 1964 making it impossible to be a GT.
