No problem, Big Al. The rear brake line bracket is in what everyone considers the "single exhaust" location. You will find this on earlier production cars. This car does not even have the indention (provision) for the bracket that is more commonly seen on the later dual exhaust cars. I would be curious as to when the change was made. I've posted here before about it with pictures, but I never received any feedback from early owners. I'd like to hear about this subject from other owners of K Mustangs built anytime in 1964.
Concerning the body plug in the choke cable hole in the firewall, this car is going to be equipped with a 3 x 2 carb. set up. I have a set with Sept. 64 dated carbs., so I just wanted to use it. These set ups did not use a manual choke. As a dealer accessory, I just had to think about what someone would have done in 1964 when this set up may have been installed on a new (or almost new) Mustang. Well, to make it a really clean installation, I guess the choke cable may have been removed and saved, and the hole may have been plugged in some manner. It's just a choice that I made. I also am installing the open letter Cobra Valve Covers and Cobra "roadster" oil pan. I hope to have some good pictures of the engine soon.
Thanks for the questions.
