would the world record price
be for the high or the low?
iowa
very nice
thanks for posting

i'm surprised that the old wiring
isn't meticulously restored
in the name of originality.
this would be more in line with
the acid standards of this site.
i'm not knocking it, just wondering.
iowa
is there a good link
to how to rebuild a water pump?
iowa
that sounds great!
and, that's quite a set up
you have to run the engine like that!!
iowa
very nice!!
inspiration for me and my '65 FB
iowa
we just replaced my son's brand new fuel pump!
had less than 100 miles on it.
car would run fine for about 5 minutes
than would 'dog' out.
checked lines = ok
installed new fuel pump = runs great!!
iowa
welcome!!
those are two awfully
good looking cars!!
iowa
as mentioned above
documention is the key
i’d like to know the definition of ‘clone’
how many pieces of a car would have
to be replaced before it was considered a clone?
many restored vehicles are described as "original,"
when what is meant, is that they only look original!
An original vehicle would be one
exactly as built by the factory
that has not had any changes made to it.
everything absolutely original and untouched!!
original tires, exhaust, paint, oil, oil filter
paint runs, ugly welds etc.
even the air in the tires
and finger prints of the production line workers
who assembled her!!
ie COMPLETELY 'untouched.'
iowa
no one is more severe
on the issue of VIN or data plates then the FAA
when restoration of an aircraft is envolved.
yet, an antique airplane can be completely restored
using airworthy parts ‘equal’ to the original
and using the original data plate!!
Glacier Girl is a Lockheed P-38F-1-LO Lightning
World War II fighter plane, 41-7630, c/n 222-5757.
it was the one buried under the ice on Greenland for 50 years!!
it was restored to airworthy condition
and is about 5% original, probably less,
AND is perfectly legal!!
No one disputes this!!

i have the original under-dash harness's
for my k car and off the '66 donor car.
really, they don't look to bad
other than well aged.
i would think that if one did a careful inspection
of the old wires, and made care repaires,
install them correctly
and carried a fire extinquisher
that one would be reasonable safe from fire?
does all the concurs cars that are judged to the nth degree
have brand new wiring?

that dyno video above
was awesome!!
iowa
back to the wiring issue
i remember when i restored my very 1st car
a '63 beatle
i had thot about replacing all the wiring
and was told that the old wiring was
much better than the new repro stuff
and to just make sure that there were no shorts etc.
are the repro mustang wiring kits better?
thanks
iowa
too bad!!
makes me wonder
how fireproof my back garage is?
inspires me to check it out
what could be worse than the loss
of an early K code?
iowa
do the modern mustangs have hydraulic clutches?
iowa
since installing our new CF clutch PP
from NPD
we have also noticed a look more pressure on the clutch pedal
one has to be careful when letting it out!!
