Looks pretty good. Was that a rare color?

  • Considering that there were only around 489 K codes in total in 67, let alone fastbacks with luxury interior, yes I would guess this was a rare colour. I haven't seen any 67 with this colour.

Anyone near the kar that would be willing to chase down some details and pics? The guys name is James V Johnson (Thank you Google).

Rare in numbers, yes. Desirable??? Well, dunno about that! <img src=images/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • Dave,

The listing is actually in Hemmings, not on Ebay. There are no real details in the listing that I can see.

  • I believe this is false advertising when it states

    289 Hi-Po K-code, don't you guys agree?

If the car is not a K-code, i.e has a K in the

serial number it should not be advertised as such.

    Just my two cents.

Definitely false advertising. Hemmings should be alerted to the fact too. Nothing worse than people trying to get away with this kind of rubbish.

My 5 cents worth )we don't have 2 cents anymore.

  • I agree with Bo. The initial statement as being a "K" code does not indicate that it is purely the engine. This would even cast doubts on the engine being correct at this point.

  • It probably has a mere "Hi-PO" decal on the air cleaner. Just like the other Hi-Po car I inquired about on Craigs List locally here. Why would somebody advertise it falsly only to waste everybody's time, including the seller!?!?
