Safe in Australia

Hi Bo,

The pictures and footage are mindblowing. Over 1100 homes gone, 190 dead + another 80 still missing. It's hard to imagine a fire storm coming at you at 50-60 mph! Hope they find the culprits. Victoria had a week of 100+ degrees temps, then some D H lights a fire - mass murder.

Thanks for your wishes Bo. Unfortunately it looks like Victoria will be having 100+ temps late next week. I can only hope and pray that things don't get worse. Hanging's too good for these folk. Let them feel the pain and suffering they've inflicted on the people and the wildlife that have perished by their actions. Did somebody mention BBQ?? These people don't deserve to be in society, we definitely don't need them.

It's just one heart wrenching story after another. Watching the news is incredibly difficult. Seeing all the destruction and loss of life is incomprehensible.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those effected by this tragedy.

Heart Wrenching is an understatment! My parents house burned when I was younger and while we all lived, the loss of memories and heirlooms is truely tragic in itself, let alone the lives...<img src=images/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

God willing the weather will cooperate and it gets controled soon. Those responsible can not be punished enough as far as I'm concerned.

In most parts of this country, arsonist are shot on sight. In Australia they had their right to self-defense taken away. If we aren't careful, we're next, and anarchy will rule. I got friends in Australia and have heard from most of them as they're being OK.

It is a shame and tragedy. The act is unconciousable. We have many kars/members registered down under and it is very disturbing that something like that can happen- Canada has one more kar registered than Australia! We wish all out mates down under safety and best wishes!

The police have made 1 arrest so far for 1 of the people responsible. Terrible but we Aussies have great spirit and we pull together when our fellow neighbor is down and out
