With heater delete.
1- not heater core leaks in the interior
2- no defrosters on those cold mornings or times when the windshield fogs up
3- funny looking plugs on the water pump and intake
4- the full assy (firewall plate, heater control plate and passenger side vent housing) can get expensive
You can figure which of these are a plus or minus in your book
Make sure you get the heater control plate also
-
I have the firewall plate and the control plate is available repro.
Is the passenger side housing a specific part of the delete package (and hard to find)?
I am a little leary of not having a defrost if I decide to have my car as a daily driver.
Thanks for your input.

The right side is actually just a vent assembly with the same door as on the heater box. It looks like a tube, the same size as the heater inlet, with a 90 degree bend and the vent door facing the passenger.

This is the other part (as discussed) that you would need (this happens to be a 67 version)

A Passenger's Side Vent like Jeff's example would probably bring similar money... A picture of a Radio Delete Plate ('66) and the early Heater Delete Kit is on Page 143 of the 4th Edition.

There is a red "NOS" radio delete up on eBay right now.

The actual term that the seller of the radio delete plate used is "like NOS" which can easily be confused for NOS which is what the seller hopes to imply.

Not surprised - I just saw it in passing - eBay strikes again!

That's keyword spamming and they can have their auction removed if ebay catches it or it's reported.
