Hello,
I have a complete Autolite 4100 carburetor that is said to be off of a k-code Mustang. Can I determine this to be correct given the following tag number?
Ford
C GF AT
B 4FD
Cheers!

Are you sure that is the exact info on the Tag? The "C GF AT" does not look like a Carb Engineering Number. The "4FD" is 1964, June, 4th week.
C4OF-AT would be a 64 Fairlane HiPo automatic with PCV valve
Okay, more information. First after some cleaning of the tag I can read the top of a "4" between the "c" and "G".
Stamped on flange is c4GFAE.
Venturi size of 1.08 is cast into side with a 13 or 18 cast about 3/8" above that.
Seems to me the G should be an O, as in C4OF...
4100 carbs with 1.08" venturi's are correct for standard 4 barrel engines, and HiPo carbs have 1.12" venturi's.
Did the automatic equiped cars have 1.12" venturis as well? Thanks for all of the responses so far. I'm not sure if this carb is off of a Mustang, Fairlane, Comet or whatever.
The C4GF-AE carb is for a regular fuel 289 non Hipo 64 1/2 Mustang and 64 Comet.
