Kelsey Hayes Discs-Australia.

  • Hi. I hope someone can help me with the following query.

The brakes on my 65 K Code need replacing or rebuilding. I live in Australia so my options are a little limited. I think I may be able to have the calipers rebuilt but the disc rotors are proving difficult to replace (they need replacing because they have worn down too much)........I can obtain very good quality Australian made rotors for a 68 Mustang and beyond but 65 rotors are not listed. The question is..am I able to use 68 rotors on a 65 ??? Any help on this really appreciated. Thanks, Tim.

  • The rotors are readily available in the US from a number of vendors, NAPA and NPD among others. Not sure how that translates to your market...

  • Hi Tim.

I will send you the number of Phill Beresford via PM. Give him a call. I think he is located in Sydney.

  • Hi Tim,

    Don't think 68 rotors will fit a 65.

However, always try to find genuine Ford

    rotors. I bought aftermarket some

years ago and they were warped. Got another

pair and they were warped too. Found some

Ford ones and the brake pedal stopped

    pulsing when braking.
