This is a continued topic from the general diskussion thread, I was asked to move it here for a better fit on the forum.

In Picture #3 you can see the firewall has a lot of work to be done. Time was not kind to the horse, nor was the Michigan salty winter roads. You can also see that the new door hinges are installed. Floors and inner frame rails are next on the list.
We are still in need of pictures of the front markings on the sway bar (the green and yellow marks) if some one can help. The hole front suspension is off and is being rebuilt.
As for the engineering numbers on the rear springs the are hard to read:
C7 ZA 73Z
5556AM
Again this is very hard to read and maybe wrong. A question for all does the rear spring painted or phosphate and oil?
The Kar was delivered with PB. And has what we believe is the original engine (no vin on the block but all k parts and correct date codes) The trans. is a four speed, no vin correct date again. Any other help in the restoration, thoughts insight would be greatly appreciated.
I have also found a site that other maybe interested in: http://www.midcomustang.com/frameandfloor.shtml . They have line drawnigs of the body specifications of the 1965-1970 Mustang frame and under body platform. The measurements provided are used to ensure that the Mustang unibody is square, and the body mounting points are in the correct relative position to the under carriage and frame support members. Take a look.
