Mecum Auction

I did a search and didn't find any K Kars. Anyone else see any coming up at the Jan Fl event?

I"ll be watching for the Shelby creation that's scheduled for 9:35pm tonight. That one looks pretty nice.

I went to the auction today (Saturday) and there was 1 white 64.4 K convertible with red interior, looked pretty good-only thing I noticed was I don't think the fuel pump was correct....I thought it should have the screw together one and it appeared to be seald....

I didn't wait for it to go through the auction to see what it brought, and even forgot to check the VIN.....

I have seen this Kar posted here previously. I am almost positive that the link below is this Kar although the Ebay auction links are now dead. The link even mentions that the Kar was going to auction in January of 09.

The Mecum site has not posted the results as yet and the auction lot number is S70.

The results were finally posted this morning and this Kar was bid to $70K and did not meet reserve at this latest Mecum auction.

Should have sold it considering the action it was getting on ebay...

Looks like the car did not sell. I assume bid did not reach the reserve.

Good Lord......70K and didn't sell it???? I think that was foolish based on todays economy.....nice car but not that nice.....radial tires and all!!
