What is the part number for the correct hipo, pump to carb fuel line? The solid metal line with the flare fitting, that goes straight into the carb. There are so many vendors and lines, it’s hard to know what you are going to get. Thanks!

The part number depends on the vendor and 65 and 66 are different from each other.

My 66 has a 65 pump(with the spin on filter). I’m putting a stock carb on it. I don’t like the current setup, which uses the small piece of rubber hose to connect the two.
I wan’t the highest quality piece, and would prefer it fits like oem. Cost isn’t an issue. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The difference in location between 65 and 66 is where the line runs in relation to the distributor. The 1965 line has the inverted flare fitting on the line to screw directly into the carburetor. The 1965 line also runs behind the distributor, where the 1966 line runs in front of the distributor. The clamp that holds the line is different between 65 and 66 also. This makes it easier to change the filter on the 1966 as the line does not get hung up on the distributor. I also prefer the 65 pump for the filter.

Yes, but all of the parts houses only offer 65-67 2v/4v lines. That’s all the description says. I have no idea what line will come when I order one. Customer service doesn’t know, as the parts are in a warehouse.

Hi, you mean that you have a 65 HiPo fuel pump.
I have a 66 HiPo fuel pump to trade for a 65.

CJ Pony list’s their as 65 only. They have stainless or regular line. Made by Classic Tube if that means anything.

None of the fuel lines had real part numbers. They had engineering numbers and were service with 8C-2269-A bulk tubing and (1) or (2) 87944-S8 fittings. The 65 fuel line is in reproduction. Classic Tube has them under the part number MUC1003-OE (steel) and MUC1003-SC (stainless). They state it goes behind the distributor and the picture shows that. You can expect to have to "tweak" any reproduction line you get, but it will be close. (P.S. 64½ line is different, as is the 66 line.) Click on image to see the full length.
