Wow, great shipping prices to Australia. The book would cost me $113 USD. What's so great about this book? I'd really like to know.
Thanks,

Nothing, really, unless you enjoy reading dozens and dozens and dozens of pages Mustang serial numbers...A phone book might make some better reading.

Your not saying that this book has all the cars produced and their details?

Although the beginning section of the book describes the history of the Mustang, including some very interesting facts and figures, the majority of the book deals with just Mustang VIN numbers. These VIN numbers are NOT taken from official Ford records. Some complete data plate information is also included when possible. All of the data was gathered by the authors over many years, with much assistance and input from hundreds and hundreds of Mustangers. The book was compiled and published back in late 80's or early 90's, and many more Mustangs have been "found" since then, making the registry far from complete.
There are dozens and dozens of pages that contain just the VIN numbers arranged in 3 or 4 columns per page with about 60 numbers per column. That's over 200 serial numbers per page! Some of the numbers are from junkyard cars, driver's doors, or unibody inner fender stamps. These numbers represent scrapped cars that are not complete or running, and never will be. All of the VINs are arranged by consecutive unit number and assembly plant.

Rene, that book could be shipped to Australia in a Flat-Rate Envelope for $11.00 US. Some of these guys really make their money on these phony shipping charges.

I thought exactly the same thing Marv. It's amazing you see something for a good price then nearly have a heart attack when you get a shipping quote. Oh well nothing for it but to pack my bags and K and move to the good ol' USA. At least I could get a better range of parts cheaper.

I just got back from meeting Jim in a parking lot and picking up my copies of volume 1 and 2. Volume 1 is for 64 1/2 to 66 and volume 2 is 67 to 73. He said that if they do a third volume it will probably include all of the above years.
