The undercarriage does show its rust history to some extent. It does, at least, have the correct motor mounts which are frequently missing.

Considering mine was built mid-April '65 and is only about 10k cars ahead of this one - no problem I can see.
I wouldn't call it an early GT - the GT package was released in April to the public - Ford was already building them up way before the end of April.

Interesting how many of these sellers don't seem willing to lower their expectations for these kars. This seems to be holding true for other early nice mustangs as well and muscle and collector cars in general.
