Hi there
i need to replace my original 65 rear shocks from my fastback.
I know this may sound like a stupid question but are they restorable?
If not are there NOS types that you could advise me to buy and from where
Thanks again
Tony
Hi there
I am thinking about restoring my 65GTK engine bay to concours specs.
Can anyone guide me as to where i would find detailed pictures and dialogue for this?
Thanks
Tony
Thanks for all the feedback on this one
the car is a late 65 San Jose car if that makes a difference
I would be surprised if it wasn't original
because a ford dealer had it in there private collection for 38 years
but you just never know!!!
Thanks again
Tony

Hi Charles
How would i determine whether it was the original one to the car?
I have the original window sticker of the car which states it came with a Rally Pac and that it was a Factory GT but it doesnt mention the color of the Rally Pac?
Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Hi There
Just wanted to let all know that i ended up finding a 65GT K Wimbeldon White with Pony Interior original sheet metal numbers matching Fastback.
Took a while but it was worth the wait.
I even think it may be a 1 of 1 with the color/interior combo...
If someone can show me how to add pics i will add some
Thanks again
Tony
point taken....although stranger things have happened like the way i bought my 66GTK Fastback. A person close to the site recieved an email who then forwarded it on to me which eventuated in a deal before the car got advertised in the US.I suppose there has to be a willingness to sell to someone overseas which i found a simple transaction believe it or not.
Thanks
Tony
no takers?
i already have a 66GTK Red on Red so i am not in a rush or panic as some others may be that dont have an existing Kar.
Beagle your Kar is nice however i want something that is close to original, not saying your Kar is not nice just not what i am looking for.
Tony
Hi there guys all great Kars that have been forwarded however i am looking for a very correct example ie original drivetrain VIN stamped original sheet metal etc etc...i know it may be a difficult one to find but i would rather wait til i find one than buy something else.
Thanks again
Tony
