Wow, that's quite a big gap. I gather with the current economic times the market is really taking a beating. I guess it's probably the best time to buy although anyone would only sell if they really needed to.

Considering that the seller was stuck on the 30K price for so long, I am surprised that they did not put a reserve on the auction. The seller is a dealer and they must have just needed the money. The highest previous offer was only $17K. Being as we never saw any underside pictures, we really have no basis for comparison on the value.

There was very little information made available about the car, and the repeated listings without any text information could well have had a bearing on the final price.
Looked at this kar last Friday. It's at midamericaclassicmustang in St. Charles, (St. Louis) Missouri. Kar has vin on engine and transmission. Incorrect carb, has 5ZF converted to manual choke. Hydraulic cam, to be changed?? Repo hipo fan, new radiator. Correct damper. Starts right up and idles well; I did not drive it. Dealer is asking $21,995 and I'm sure it will end up on eBay. Can look at it more closely if anyone is interested.
That's not going to give him much of a profit as a dealer.Paying $19.1 and selling (if he gets that) for $21.9
Everyone will tell you ,a little dealing room ,will be needed . He will hardly break even. Dealers don't make a living losing or breaking even. Wonder what the deal is? HUMMMMM

The seller appears to be trying to represent the Kar honestly in showing pictures on the VIN on the engine and trans. There is still a lack of undercarriage pictures.
