    <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>Vehicle Description

For sale this 1965 2+2 Fastback K Code Mustang. This car now has a 302 motor and not numbers matching with an 8 inch rear end. The motor is new and runs very strong with no noise or leaks. It has factory disc brakes and power steering. It has a 4-barrel intake and a Holly 4-barrel carburetor. The transmission is a top-loader 4-speed that works great and has a Hurst Competition Shifter. All chrome inside and out is new. It has all new rubber around the windows as well as new felt. The floor pan has had repair work done and is in good shape. It also has been undercoated. This beautiful car has a new front end and all new parking brake system. Everything inside is new or redone same as the outside including new paint. This car placed 2nd in its first car show.

K-Code Mustangs were approximately ¾ of 1% of 1965 and 1966 production. This included coupes, convertibles, and fastbacks in GT and non-GT versions. It is easy to see just how rare these Mustangs are.

A great investment and fun to drive, this car runs very well and is in great shape. It is not numbers matching, but it is a K-Code car and would be with the correct motor and rear end.

This huge part of Mustang History runs as great as it looks. The beautiful black paint is set off by a set of magnum 500 wheels with to a new set of tires. It drives out and shifts strong!! The pictures do not do this car justice. don’t let this investment pass you by. Bid with confidence. Please, serious bidders only.

  • Good! If this car is worth $27,500 then mine is worth at least double that, maybe $60,000 or so. Anyone interested? It's not really meant as a joke, the way prices are going it will soon be at leat that.

  • It certainly should be at the bottom of the NADA price range, not the middle. The floor pan looks like it was glued in using

    JB Weld or Plumbers Goop.

  • Back on E-Bay... "No Reserve" auction

Previous seller was "kghorn" out of Arkansas

New Seller is "kurtmaxvp" in Irving Texas

  • Looks like the new owner purchased another data tag to fix the I in the consecutive number. It is now a 1 instead of the incorrect I. It's too bad he didn't know enough to fix the date. Should be 03Q instead of 23F and it sure looks like car was a non original deluxe interior car since it doesn't have the door lights.

  • Somewhat off-topic but does anyone else get tired of seeing 289 HP air cleaner decals on these kinds of cars? I've easily seen more of 'em on non-HP cars/engines than I have on real ones. Sort of waters down the real thing, IMO.
