Tony Branda, E-bay, Swap meets, my attic, Just about any where Ford parts congregate. Expect to pay big bucks if you want an original.

  • Everybody I've checked with including Branda are out of stock. Nothing on ebay for a while now. No swap meets going on right now. That leaves your attic. You got one for sale?

Not really for sale but could be bought. I think it's a repop that someone added the oil splash too. It dosen't look like it has ever been bolted to an engine. Someone painted it silver I am not sure why. I would take $350 for it. I will get some photos later in you are interested.

  • rr64,

Thanks, I just looked at that one but it is the early part number intake (S2MS). I need the one used on the 67 and 68 shelbys. I think its S7MS.

  • Steve I pulled mine out of the attic and took a few photos. My computer on camera have stopped talking to each other. It is a S2MS anyway. I have never seen or heard of a S7MS repop. So if you find a S7MS expect to pay dearly for it.

Well, maybe I'm wrong in the part number. I would still be interested in yours it you want to sell it. $350 sounds good if you want to part with it. Do you have a paypal account? Let me know if we can get together.

  • Steve S7MS is the correct part # for a 67 GT 350. They are hard to find. I had a 67 350 years ago that was missing the intake. I looked long and hard for a S7MS before settling for a S2MS. I will send you a email before we get charged for hijacking.

    Larry

  • Actually, an S7MS intake is correct for 67 cars, but only later production cars. I have an early 67 shelby engine in the shop right now that has an S2 intake on it, and a 713 dated carb.

Wow, a '67 Shelby Mustang must have been pretty impressive back in 1657. Bet it's mighty rusty by now!

Well, the roads were pretty lousy back then but at least one didn't have to worry about them being salted.

As I remember it, the roads back then were the width of two horses standing side by side. (My kids have accused me of being from a time when you started cars with a crank!)

Hey wait a second Bill. I started helping my Dad with Model A Fords when I was around five years old, I built up a 1933 Ford Phaeton chassis into a driveable roller for Dad when I was fifteen, and while I hunted my first car (which became a 1966 Mustang) when I was sixteen I drove a 1931 Model A Ford pickup truck to school and work. Occassionally for fun just to show people and sometimes out of necessity I hand cranked it to start. Dad's 1930 Model A Deluxe Phaeton (two door) is out in the garage as I type.

So, I resemble that "(My kids have accused me of being from a time when you started cars with a crank!)" slurr. I am not yet 53 years old yet either.
