HI-PO HEAD SCAM ON E-BAY

  • Just a heads up to warn members that e-bay item number 110128314911 hi-po heads auction is a scam, he is using pictures from another sellers auction that has ended in his listing, i reported it to e-bay 2 days ago to no affect.

  • While talking about scams, I got a request to

pay for an item I had supposedly won a couple of days ago.

The problem is I never bid on it so I checked

it by the number and found out who won and what

it was. It was some female clothes and so far I

have not starting to wear female clothes.

Reported it to ebay and they responded with a standard

email and said they will look into it within 72 hours.

I am afraid I will get negative feedback for something

    I was never involved in.

Also, several times I have got requests from paypal

that my account must be updated and it was really a scam.

Somebody uses paypal web-page to get my account number.

I can't understand why the FBI don't go after these scammers.

It is possible and these dirtbags should be put away for good

When you receieve an email that appears to be a scam. Do not go to the link in the email as that is how they get your password. Forward these emails to spoof@paypal.com or spoof@ebay.com depending on which site they are supposedly sent from. You need not worry about receiving negative feedback on scam items. If you think that an Ebay auction is a scam you can report it by going to the bottom of that auction page and clicking on the "report this item" link and following it through. Ebay and Paypal do try to follow up on these things and most scam auctions that I have reported are usually gone in an hour or so.

  • ebay is worthless when it comes to keeping things clean from scams. I get tired of receiving account update notices and reminders to pay for items I "won". I do like to proofread their emails for grammatical errors. I try to read them with a Nigerian or Russian Mafia accent. I stopped writing ebay. They seem to have no interest in investing their time or money into this problem, after all, they're making money.
