You car should have a cast iron pump with the hi-po impeller.

There has been a lot of discussion on the SAAC Forum regarding the correct pump for the carry over cars, you need a cast iron pump with a C5OE-8505B casting number.

The impeller, or at least one very similar to it, is still available from Ford Motorsport. Part# is M-8512. it's basically a service replacement Boss 302 impeller, even has a DOZE part#

Z.Ray, That Motorsport impeller has been gone for about a year now. The main Motorsport dealer that carried them had around 400 of them and sold them all to one customer. Motorsport no longer services that impeller.

Bought my impeller from a guy on ebay, The Waterpump man
I believe he called himself. Also bought a rebuilt
April 65 dated aluminum pump from him for $120. Impeller was $43.
