Exhaust manifold

Do you guys know what I can use on the exhaust manifolds to make them look nice? Is there a type of paint that can be used?

I bead blast mine and paint them with McKay Graphite Spray. When they dry, they look almost new, and after they have been on a car and heated, they still look original. Eastwood manifold paint, and almost all the other paints, look - well, painted, as in crap.

I'm considering two options.

1. Bead blast and then soak in WD40 and let dry.

2. Have them re-skinned by Jerry McNeish (Camaro Restorations).

I have been happy with POR15 in manifold gray. Bead blast, then spray coat, then bake according to their instructions.

I used the WD 40 method on my new repo manifolds about a year and a half ago. They still look great. I put a heavy coat on them about 4 times inside and out. For used manifolds you would want to media blast them, but it should work the same. For the price (two large cans of WD 40) I highly recommend it.
