Bogus hipo caps on e-bay-BEWARE

  • I think this is more a case of not knowing what he has. This seller has sold over 6000 items with very few negative feedback. That is hard to do. But as always, buyer beware. The parts are not as described.

If you check his feedback, he makes the auction numbers private. What's the point of doing this unless you feel the need to obscure what you're doing. Personally, I like to see what people have been selling and how well they describe their items. I think it says a lot about the seller.

  • People hide the bidders because someone else will sell for less.He probably don't know what he has but even if he does he probably thinks he's got some RARE high dollar Hipo parts like most do!

  • My point is he has been told they are not HiPo caps and he has NOT moved to change the description.

My concern was they jumped to $250 in a very short time and it looked like someone was going to be in over their head as Mexican caps are worth about $250 and that's it. Bidding has stalled. I just didn't want to see someone bid several hundred dollars or only to get an education after the fact.

  • I agree they are out of price as I've bought them for $50 and that's enough in my book.Everything that guy sells he looks for a sucker so if he finds one who's to say as I see alot of that!
