Pics I took for my Showboard when it was about to rain. Nice demonstration of how rich and deep the colors are when it is overcast. These pics were downsized from the already lowest jpg setting on my camera. My camera takes a low res jpg at the same time it takes a full res RAW for previewing. The RAW files are even better!

Oh yea, before I get blasted, this car is a driver. I realize I have the wrong carb, wrong underhood bolts (I like the shiny ones!), and that my coil is turned wrong. Feel free to point out anything else wrong. I finally have the correct carb ready to bolt on - whoo-hoo!!

Ivy green is a hard color to photograph... looks good in the overcast conditions.

Absolutely Beautiful! For me, that is as good as it gets.

I had a 66 Hipo GT T5 pony interior Kar identical to yours in color and top combination. In 1984 when I did mine it looked really good however yours is a few points higher in quality.

More pics - How often do you get a view like this??

66GT K that is one good looking car. I love the color combination. I'd change the PCV, it shouldn't be blue and paint your shocks black.

No need to apologise for anything being incorrect. The car is georgous.

That is a stunning car! You should feel extremely proud.

elsewhere on this site someone said the convertible was lacking in good looks,[ my words], compared to the fastback. I take issue with that opinion. They are different, but a good performing convertible with something approaching balance, was new to the US market. I love the looks of the fastback, but the purpose of the convertible was a little different from the fastback, and delivered a different experience than the fastback. My '65 GT350 was crisp and responsive, honest and agressive, the epitomy of the K fastback. But the crispness and responsiveness was/is also found in the convertible. Many fastback fans have never experienced the convertible, I'll wager, and therefore are ignorant of its virtues. Try one, you'll find out what I'm talking about.
