Q: Very honest fella you are!!! Apr-01-08
A: Thank you.I hate to let this title and vin plate go.I know I will probally never get another chance to get a k code fastback..I would need to morgage my house to get one that is fixed up already
Q: BY THE WAY.. Why is the title dated 3/24/08 if you never registered the car long ago? and it is not in your name? PS I can get a tag from my supplier at anytime without any proofs of my ownership etc. /so that part of the story/the hammering the tag flat (you have the original still(even if damaged??)) with a new tag and title/just wondering if the story jives. Apr-01-08
A: As in my description.I bought it about 20 years ago and never registured it.I thought about restoring it.I got fed up and cut up the car. When my son damaged the tag,Cjponyparts would not issue me that tag ,because of the rareity of the car, they needed proof of ownership. This is mainly to keep fraud down.I guess other companys dont care about c code and t code mustangs.I had to registure the car to get the tag.
Q: seriously interested/if you don't get $1000 would you take $500 for that historic ticket? repop door tag??? Mar-31-08
A: no.If someone was to do this car right they can turn their fastback into a rare dream machine. A K code fastback with this color combo and rare pony package will be worth over 70,000..
Q: Would I be correct in assuming that you are suggesting the new owner of this VIN tag repalce it on his current vehicle- effectively changing the VIN? In case you werent aware, that is illegal Mar-31-08
A: So if a mustang was wrecked in the front and the entire fender apron was replaced. Now the only numbers left are on the door.Who is to say that is not the original car!!
