• Hi, im Gary and I live in Rochester NY. I own a 67 Galaxie and I've been looking for a smaller car, the Gal is so big it takes most of my garage. So, I've looked all over the USA for a Mustang or Falcon. Lo and behold a mechanic friend of mine said his In law had a 65 GT for sale about 10 miles from me. I looked at the car , fell in love and bought it. It's been sitting for 8 yrs. I hope to have it up and running soon.

  • I guess its up to me to say welcome. Your 65 GT is what, a hardtop, convertible or fastback? And where was it built, the first five characters of the VIN spell that out (mine is 6R09K. . . . see below). If I may make a recommendation, join the Concours Mustang forum too. That site is more oriented to assembly line originality (and picky on details). Fred, the "man" on this site, restores fuel pumps, so keep that in mind.
