    Listing Info:

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>This is a true K-Code that is Dated & Coded which is very rare to find and most have been rebuilt using parts from other K-Codes but not this one! This would be perfect for any Mustang enthusiast.

The car is in excellent condition and only has 21,000 miles since it was restored over 13 years ago! I have owned this car going on 6 years and it has never missed a beat. This my baby and I made sure to take the very best care of it to keep it looking pristine. It is a rust free California Car! It looks, runs and sounds beautiful.

There are many highlights to the car and below are just a few.

    V8 289 CID 4V High Performance, 271 HP

Twilight Turquoise came on this car, color code 5.

    Original K-Code block and heads

    New McCloud Clutch

    New Tires

    Original reproduction AM/FM radio w/ MP3 interface

2 new 6” kick panel speakers

2 tweeters in the dash cover vent

2 new 6”x9” in rear reproduction trap door w/ 600 watt amp (still have original trap door)

    And much more!

K-Codes came with front disk brakes and I also have the original manifold that came on the car. The suspension is in great condition.

I made sure to go above and beyond all required maintenance. I religiously changed the motor oil every 2,000 miles with Valvoline VR1 Racing oil. The transmission and rear differential fluids have been changed once a year.

I assure you this car runs awesome and the only thing you have to do is turn the key!!

I’m happy to answer any question or concerns you may have. Feel free to email through Ebay or call me, Dale, at 602-315-5955.

  • I believe that somebody needs to have a good look at the data plate. He is stating that the axle is an "H" code which is a 3.89 with limited slip. To my knowledge, a limited slip rear end was not available in a Hipo car in 1965. This was not available until 1966.

That's right, Fred. The limited slip axle wasn't available in 1965 on the High Performance cars...Here's another contradiction that was posted today on the eBay listing regarding the rear ratio:

<i>Q: What is the size of the rear end and what is the ratio??? Thanks: AL

A: Hi, The rear end size is 9" and it is a 3.25 ratio. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you! </i>

    Nice looking car though <img src=images/icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • I think the owner just needs to put his glasses on. For trim he gives 80, most likely D6 (judging from the interior); for build date he gives 05B, vin puts it at 05Q and the H is probably an 8. Some semi-educated inferences on my part.
