Aside from the weird shelby recreation stripes, the Kar isn't a true GT either -- VIN looks like a Dec 64 build which is a few months before GTs were introduced. Seems like nice kar for the price, be great if the girl came with.
Yes, not a GT and data codes provided in answer to a door tag question do not correspond to codes in the hipo registry. Color in the registry is X not A, DSO is 74 not 71 and axle is 5 not E. Makes you wonder. Also, I keep a database of 65 and 66 mustangs. My notes on this one say no engine. Even though I'm careful, mistakes can happen. The pictures provided for the trans and engine vins are fuzzy and unclear. How difficult or maybe I should ask how easy is it to re-stamp 45 year old cast iron?
