New E-Bay Listing: 65 K Conv.
By Seller: "marshval"
Car located in El Dorado, Arkansas
Listing Info:
This is a very rare configuration of the 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. It was originally delivered form the San Jose, Ca factory. The car has been under restoration since 1989 and has been trailered and garaged up until the last few months. The exterior body needs work, the interior has been cleaned and repainted. There is no evident rust on the exterior or floor pans. The car was purchased in 1975 without the original engine and was driven for a number of years with a 289 2 barrel motor that is still in the car today. All suspension, brake systems, and shocks are brand new and have never been used since installation. I have spent over $10,000 on new parts for this restoration to include a complete brand new interior. All seats, dash, panels, floor sound deadening matts, carpets and trim are available to be sold with this vehicle. All matts for the trunk are new and go with the vehicle. Complete new wiring harnesses are part of the package. The car comes equipped with a four speed toploader gearbox with brand new in the box Hurst Competition Plus Shifter and linkage. The rear end is a 9 inch housing with 3:55 to 1 gears. There is an original center console that is included. There are a number of other very rare parts that will be sold with this car as well, including a factory original aluminum air filter system for a two four barrel carbeurator system off a 1963 Galaxy 500 that was used on a previous Mustang I owned. I no longer have the time, nor the space to complete this car and would like to see it go to someone who will bring it back to its former glory. There are quite a few other features and I will be happy to answer any questions via email or by phone.
The car is located in South Arkansas and will need to be trailered. The car will be sold as is where is. It will need to be picked up at the current location. I will be happy to work with you on coordinating shipping arrangements.
