Looks nice. Not the original engine, has had GT package added. Is it in the registry? Would love one this colour.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Car…d=p4506.c0.m245

I applaud the sellers integrity regarding their honesty in revealing the true non GT status and non original motor. It is unusual these days.

This car has a drain plug added to the rear end housing. It also has an incorrect third member as it has a fill plug. The rear end yoke is too short as well.
-Fred-
Repro door tag so who knows how it was factory equipped.
It looks like a Vin plate (Shelby?) has been riveted
over the Ford Vin number or least the holes are still there.

Description
This is a stunning, professionally restored 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback K-code car, which sports an original HiPo 289/271hp K-code engine with a close ratio top loader 4speed transmission. Although this is not the original engine to this car, it is a date coded correct K-code engine with all of the right components. All of the unique 289 HiPo parts such as the carberator, distributor, altenator pulley, harmonic balancer, main caps, connecting rods, fan blade, exhaust manifolds are correct and original Ford parts.
The rear axle is the correct Ford 9" with 3:50 gears. It does have a traction lock rear end which was not available in 65, but added during restoration as an upgrade. The car does have the heavier duty sway bar and the quick ratio steering box that came on the K-code Mustangs. The Mustang rides on styled steel wheels and 14" dual redline Coker tires. It is also equipped with front disc brakes.
This cars mfg. date is too early to be a factory GT car, however the GT options were added during restoration as a very desireable upgrade. The Raven black paint is beautiful with awesome depth and shine. The pony interior was all restored and looks like new.
The K-code cars are an absolute blast to drive and here's your chance to own a very rare K-code Mustang Fastback. Please read the description, look at the pictures and give us a call with any questions. We are an Oregon dealer so the car is for sale locally and we have the right to end the auction at any time. The car will be sold as is with no warranty and the miles will show as exempt. Although this is a very nice car we always recommend that you have the car inspected before bidding. If you have any questions please give us a call and we can go over the car in more detail. 541-382-0336
