D Shaped holes

My car has these two D shaped holes as in this photo I found online. Since it is not a GT as its too early, December 64, is this common to have these ? Could this mean it had factory fog lights ? A factory ralley pac ?

The photo I have of the original radiator support doesn't seem to show holes for the wires .

I have the same D shaped hole as well but I only have one and it is the one closest to the drivers kick panel. My car is also built at SJ in Oct 64...hope this helps..

My car has factory four way flashers, and the on off toggle switch is located where the D shaped hole is shown in the picture...

So if fog lights go in one hole then what does two holes mean ? Why did some have two vs. one hole stamped ? Were flashers factory installed ?

Flashers were a dealer installed option in '65 and you could also by the kit over the counter from Ford.
