Hey Charles,
Do you happen to have any pics of the final product of the undercarriage? I've seen the other pics of the car completed but haven't seen the undercarriage

Quote from 6hypo5convChris & Guys: Sorry it took me so long to finally dig out my wheels but all I seem to have are wheels with "9M" as a date code-I have 4 of these wheels most with decent to brand new "roller" or "spares"
Thanks Rick for looking. I got your e-mail this morning and was going to reply when I got home from work. 9M wouldn't work for me since that would indicate a 1969 Model year wheel . Maybe someone else could you use those...My search continues...
Quote from 6hypo5convChris, I will be checking my wheels later today-just haven't had a chance until now....I have not forgotten about you!-Rick
Thanks Rick...no worries at all. Was at the Mesquite show this weekend...I appreciate it again...
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Looking for a set or even just one stock 14x5 rim but looking for a date code of 4J or 4K. Doesn't have to be painted perfect but at least solid. Looking for the 5 lug version
Thanks,
Chris
Agree w/ Caspian on that. If it was the other side of the steering wheel then it would be the parking brake warning light.
This was at a show yesterday:

When they paint the trunk striker makes you wonder what else they painted...Agree with Caspian though that the trap door will be painted the interior panel color.
Quote from GregMAnother tid bit of information on the 12/21/64 Kar :
Front end assembled on 12/2 2nd shift as stamped on the firewall between the tower braces. So I am surprised by the time of assembly to actual production of the vehicle. Any other late 64 SJ builds see this ?
Greg,
The build date for my car was scheduled for 10/29/64...Latest sheet metal stamping I have found has been around 10/21/64. I do know the car was sold on 11/6/64 according to the owners manual. So they rushed to put it together I think...
I thought back up lights were standard equipment on 66 Mustangs?
Greg,
I have the same D shaped hole as well but I only have one and it is the one closest to the drivers kick panel. My car is also built at SJ in Oct 64...hope this helps..
Can you post some pics of the build sheet? I'd be interested to se what it looks like. I also think some other people are trying to collect some data on those and compare them....So has anyone else found build sheets in the San Jose cars?
I have a set on my car right now that have a curve to them. They aren't trico though, at least I don't think they are...And they aren't common from what I have seen. Does anyone have a pic of the correct wiper blades that should be on the car?
Just also want to say that I am very pleased with Fred's job of rebuilding my fuel pump. It looks great. Everyone at my local Mustang club liked how it looked. I haven't installed it on the car yet but plan to soon.

Actually e-mailed him from 2 my e-mail addresses...I guess I'll call him next. Want to try and get the ball rolling on this fuel pump.
Still no response yet ![]()
Hi,
Does anyone know if Fred Ballard is still rebuilding the button top fuel pumps?
