caspian blue paint

Last I heard that the Caspian Blue wasn't available in the newer Base-Coat/Clear-Coat system, that was 2 years ago, but I would think that by now the paint manufacturers would have figured it out-I think Caspian Blue is a beutiful color on early Mustangs, and the Nightmist Blue on 1966s is a close second.

I actually have not had any paintwork done on a caspian blue car in a while. I was going to do some touch-up on my k fastback, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

<font face='Comic Sans MS'>Hit your local paint supplier for the info. I paint with an RM product line paint called LIMCO, a single stage acrylic enamel. The supplier here in Austin has always been able to provide early Mustang mixes/codes for me e.g. Rangoon Red, Nightmist Blue, Indian Fire Red etc., based on Ford's data plate info which for Caspian Blue is 'H', DuPont code 4289. It's worth a try at least.
