Mexico 302 short block

I for one will not contact 662plus2 to make an offer on his parts, 662plus2 was the winning e-bay bidder for a complete 289 i had listed on april 16th 2011, then contacted me a week after the auction ended to tell me that due to the fact it would take to much time out of his weekend to pick up the engine he would not and did not complete the transaction after he won the auction, just my 2 cents,

Your post regarding his actions was appropriate.

If you bid on any auction site and win, you should be preparred to follow through with the transaction.

Chuck is correct I did back out of the purchase after finding an engine that was a better match for my car 30 miles from home and was delivered by the seller. I based my decision on the fact that there were no other bids so I did not prevent a sale and I offered to pay all of the listing fees. Chuck told me how much the listing cost and asked me to send a MO. On 5/3/11 I sent an e-mail asking for his address but he did not reply.

All I'm saying is I come here to learn more about the cars I enjoy and not to hear bickering and back fighting or opinions about other members. If you are offering a warning about parts misrepresentation or fraud or even just a plain wrong fact someone has that you can correct well great! I agree that those who don't follow the rules should be called out as noone is special here but then again just my opinion but that's how you find out the true measure of a man!
