Based on the sequential VIN this car would have a scheduled build date around November 5, 1964. This is far into the production run and is obviously incorrectly stamped.

HOW DOES THAT FALL WITH THE DATE CODE HE IS SHOWING

According to the date stamp on the apron, it was made on October 22 in Dearborn on the third shift. That would fit nicely with the November scheduled build date.

The date code on the apron and other areas of the car matching up with the November vin have been pointed out to the seller, but hey, he's got a prototype fastback! Anything to maximize the profit. First time he offered it on ebay, if memory serves me correctly, he wanted $14000!

IS this the second or third time this one has come up for sale?
Know its been discussed before

Take a look at how someone ruined this car! Unbelievable what someone will do to try and make a buck. Floor pan work is just awful, not to mention the rest of the car.
-
This one has flipped a few times, came out of Wylie, TX the first time. What a butcher job, car needed too much work to be finished that soon and be done properly.
-
If anyone is interested in this hack job, I am 15 minutes from where it is now; don't recognise the sellers eBay handle. As far as I can tell, the only cool thing is the VIN.
