Use to pin rocker studs on Street Stock dirt track cars that had to use stock heads, that was an allowed mod but we couldn't use screw in studs.

Anybody going to the MCA show in Mesquite Tx this weekend? I'll be bringing the Koupe there.

Looks like a Fiat Dino next door, nice company

Every one I've seen has that hole, can't remember the exact fuction of the plate though, heat shield or heat stove?

Looks like part of a double stamp might be visible below the VIN, maybe this is a corrected vin stamp of what looks like a mistake.

The 2.95 FRPP T-5(z) is stronger and would work better with 3.50 or higher rear. The 3.35 T-5 was designed to compensate for the high 2.73 or 3.08 rears in the 5.0 Mustangs. Torque rating on the 3.35 WC was about 265(early) to 300(late) ft/lbs. The FRPP 2.95 is rated about 330 ft/lbs and includes other internal upgrades.
Heres a link that explains in more detail.

Those are the original hoses, kar is a Metuchen, I finally had to replace the washer hoses 2 years ago and now that the deadnuts stuff is out I'm going to have to do it again. Yes the sticker was that way from new, it also has the blue alt fan and a couple other oddities.

I hope its ok to talk about this here, over on the SAAC forum there is a disscusion going on about getting Scott Fuller to do one of his exact reproductions of the 1966 Shelby Exhaust which would also fit our Hipo's. He does some incredible work and having an exact repro to fit our cars would be a great contribution. He is looking for some original exhaust samples to copy and an original muffler and resonator to cut open to reproduce the inside to get the correct tone of the OEM exhaust.

Sounds like the Disc Brake Proportioning valve, its rebuildable. If your up to it NPD and others sell the seal kit or a few people rebuild them, can't think of a name right now.

According to my log book which goes back to day one she averages 12 to 15 in normal driving, best of 18.3 on a long trip. Stock motor, 4sp, 3:50 gear. Still seems to get close to that but I don't keep very close track of it. Here is a sheet from 1972, gas was around 40 cents!

No, I was about the only car there not on slicks, they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a tech card. There was a 65 Mustang coupe there but I couldn't talk him into taking it on the track with me.

Here's a quik in-car clip of the Koupe racing at Redline Raceway, TX. Not the best video quality and I bogged real bad at the start but I was having fun. Of course for the best run of the day later on the camera bagged out on me. Added some footage from trackside of run one and two
