Here is a link of the first run of my motor in quit some time,we had already set the timing before we started filming.I used a friends old cam corder with cassett and the sound didn`t upload and this link didn`t come up highted(not very computer friendly). If you would like to view either copy and paste the link or do a search using my name(larry strickland).

The motor and tranny are both back in the car and its off to the body shop this spring, finally.

Disreguard the link at the top,it has been deleted and a new one uploaded with sound, much better than just watching me walk around enjoy.Try the link at bottom.

I have seen another original 66 Kar with the rubber snubber on both the body and rear end. The two pieces were just beating each other up. The dash bezel and glove box door are interesting as they have both been converted to woodgrain by way of inserts as the design of the bezel and glove box door are standard pieces.

When I bought my 6T09K it also had the snubber bolted to the body, but the 9" was long gone, did all 9" rearends have the snubbers? Thanks in advance.

Can I ask what you are asking for the 5-66 radiator,is it standard or automatic?

I thought the object of this Forum is to preserve the original hipo mustang and related parts!!!

Preserve yes,but IMHO prices are thru the roof, its been mentioned here before that cars are worth more in pieces than intact, dont make it right$$$$$$$

Here is what I tried, sand plasted the complete upper arm, taped off about an inch in front of the holes and painted black, then clear coated the unpainted part of the nose to keep from rusting so fast, came out pretty nice.

So your implying that originals are worth less than repops now($429)? They were selling for $1000+ unrestored before the repops became available. The availability of repop fans at $99 hasn't brought down the price of originals which are $800+.
