choke cable

Hi all,looking for a origanal choke cable in usable shape before i go repo,mine broke at the carb end and the rubber coating is cracked,any help.Thanks in advance.

You may find that the cable is long enough to re trim the outer and then reconnect to the carb.

My outer coating was cracked so I pulled it all off and reversed it, putting the cracked end under the dash.

I beleive 'dead nuts on' sell the outer coating.

I believe that there is a very suitable replacement cable that can be used to rebuild/restore the choke cable, I am hoping that earlyk will see this thread and share what he knows about this as he is very knoledgable on our Ks--it may be as simple as a common cable from a lawnmower.........

Thanks all-sleeve is on the way from "Dead nuts on" and will be checking for the inner wire at the local lawn mower shop.

Sounds like a plan!! I didn't realize that Jack at Dead Nuts On had the outer sleeve available.

Jack sure does some great stuff for us all for sure!!
