What's everyone's opinion of this Kar? What is the ballpark price range for this Kar with these options and in this condition??
The coupes and automatics are usually at the bottom of the K-code food chain, tho GT and condition puts it at the top of this class.
In today's market, mid-twenties may be close. IMHO. <img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Duncan, it looks like your estimated value is pretty close to correct.

How many automatic K code coupes were made? How many k codes were made with every factory option? Seems to me it's much rarer than a 4 speed car , plus it's not pieced together like most of the restored cars out there today. Just my opinion .......
No doubt this is a highly optioned car, but rare doesn't always command a premium. Performance enthusiasts aren't generally fans of automatic transmissions. Vinyl tops are a somewhat similar case; nice, but not worthy of a premium.
To comtinue further on Daves comments, the vinyl top can be a negative due to the rust issues surrounding them.

I've seen the car. There is NO rust around it's vinyl top thats for sure. How many others out there are heavily FACTORY optioned ? I have not seen another in my 25 years of being in the Mustang hobby.Maybe he'd be better off to sell the motor and transmission to someone restoring a 66 Hertz Shelby ?
No one is disagreeing with the notion that this is a nice car. The point is that a long list of options doesn't make a car valuable. Granted, the car appears to be in good condition, but a vinyl roof was not a very popular option even back in the day.
Can a vinyl top be removed ?
does the seller belong to this site? <img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
A vinyl top can be removed and you would normally leave the divider moldings on the roof at the quarter. This is also the time when you will get your rust surprise especially around the rear window.
