• Thats most likely due to the fact the seller wanted $55K starting bid. The car if absolutely correct and properly restored may and may not bring that in todays troubled economy.

  • This Kar has the wrong transmssion as it is a wide bolt pattern case which was not used in 64 1/2. There is no mention of whether the engine is original or not although it is a 5 bolt at least.

  • Does the data plate look like a repro? The date of 13F is basically a month off of the build date based on the sequential 196108. Should more likely be 13G based on the sequential numbers. It is interesting to note that the registry has this kar listed and there is also a 5F08K169108 with the same data plate info but no DSO axle and trans. Has the date of 13F. Something doesn't quite fit. I realize these actual build date and data plate date can be off, but a whole month!
