    65 K FB Shell on Craigslist:


    Listing Info:

    65 K fb shell sitting a my trailer.no motor/trans/rear end/suspension.have the seats,glass,decklid,foldown seat&panels,wireing.i don't see any rot.it does have surface rust though,the core support is off and so is the id panel but still have it along with the orig door tag.all id #s in there places,body looks pretty good...driver 1/4 needs work.orig ca car $14,000

    This sounds very familiar......There was a 65 GT shell on eBay a while back for this exact price at a shop in CA or NV - could be the same car???

    The Kar that I remember was in Arizona. I contacted the seller and I am waiting on pictures.

    I just received pictures of this car and it is not the one that I saw from Arizona. This one is not a GT as the one in Arizona was. It was built in San Jose in late January 1965 if you go by the serial number. This makes it neither a GT nor a pony interior candidate although it is not advertised that way either. He has the door tag but as yet I have not seen a picture of it. The VIN in one of the pictures is of the hidden one on the right rear inner fender apron and it looks correct and unmolested. As advertised, the left front inner fender apron and radiator core support are no longer attached to the car. There is not any bolt on sheet metal with the car except for the decklid. It is basically a unibody shell with some of the interior and glass. This car would need a donor car for everything that bolts on to make it a car. As stated in the advertising, the drivers 1/4 needs work and most of the exterior surface has surface rust as if it was partially stripped for paint at one time.
