NOS choke cables from Ford came as all seperate pieces. The cable was a C5ZZ 9700 C, the bracket was a C5ZZ 9A700 A and the nut holding the cable to the bracket was a 34670 S7-8. The seller, Ted, had been trying for a long time to collect as many NOS and correct parts for his 65 Hipo GT pony interior fastback as he could. He made some mistakes in the process. This very well could have been one of his mistakes however I am sure that he believes that he is correctly representing his parts. He, I am sure, will step up and correct any problems that might arise if he has made any errors. He is only selling off his stuff for family reasons as he is no longer able to proceed with his planned restoration.

Yes, I have communicated with Ted quite extensively over the past few years in his endeavor to collect as many NOS parts for his car as possible.

I thought he should have known better on this choke cable. Hopefully the buyer will realize what they bought.

Caveat emptor! Hopefully the seller will work with the buyer to get it straightened out.
