Rear End Tag Info.

Does anyone have the information and/or picture of their original rear end tag? I'm particularly interested in Aug. '64 production Dearborn cars, but I think all would be helpful.

Maybe if you could post center section and pinion retainer casting date along with info. or picture of tag.

Also, I was wondering what the typical "9xx" series code was on most tags. Is it 901? That is what I have seen on 8 inch Mustang rear end tags from this time. I'm not sure if it is the same on the 9 inch or not.

Just saw your post; sorry for the delay. The white primer was incorrectly applied by a PO and was subsequently stripped during component restoration. Final photo at the end is the finished installation.

Mine is either 921 or 971 it is hard to read laying on my back. Will try to get a better look over the weekend. The whole number is WCZ-H and then below that is 3.50 5AB 921 (or 971).

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I know that it is not the easiest part to see on a completed car.
