65/6 speedometer question

Ford engineering p/n C5OA-12760-A cross references to Ford service p/n C5OZ-17260-A which is the correct replacement for 64-66 Mustangs V8 engines with 4 speed manual transmissions. The casing should be 64 15/16 inches long.

Most likely the cable will have a thinner

rubber sleeve instead of the original foam

sleeve. This means the hole in the fire wall

will be too large. I found an old cable with

foam and replaced the rubber sleeve with that one.
