Who's going to the Mustang Memories show this weekend in Redford.I'll be there, who else is going?

    Greg

Hey, Greg, when is it - this coming weekend? I am back in town for August (up in Lexington) so maybe I can get there. I do plan to go over to the 32 Deuce Coupe gathering in Dearborn on Friday.

  • I'm going....if that is the show at Green Mead park near 8 mile rd. Infact a crew from our local mustang club will be coming down for the day. Not sure which car I'll drive. Either the blue k code coupe or the 65 restomod green fastback. If you get a chance stop by.Qman

  • Great.lets catch up if we can.I will have my 67 GT 350 ,blue clone there.Looks like it will be a nice weekend.Meet Ron for the first time there last year.Had his K code car with him.

Missed it again --- I will be at the Woodward Cruise tomorrow - 9 Mile east of Woodward where Tom is planning to be.

  • I'll be on Woodward also. We're going with a group from the Mid Michigan Mustang Club. Our group will be at Mustang ally. We will be in the hipo coupe. We may go up to Flint and the "Back to the Bricks" party. I saw on TV they had two thousand cars on Thursday night. Today a friend and I went to Waterford race course. The folks at Roush Racing rented the track. What a great day watching some high flyers running all out on that track. One fella had a 65 coupe with 347 five speed and 3.89 gear and no power adders. He was really handling that course with ease. Some of those new Roush cars are just beautifull. Most of the ones I saw were either stage two or three.

Sunday some of the mustang club members plan to go up to Caseville for a little show they have right on Lake Huron. I'm not going to work on Monday.

  • Quentin and Tom - it was great to see you guys and your wives at Mustang Alley during the Woodward Dream Cruise on Saturday... I've concluded that registering there - or at another place is the very best way to do Woodward - it is just too huge to drive in now. I tried to make my way up to 14 Mile from 9 Mile to meet up with a cousin, but could not get past 10 1/2 Mile and gave up.

Anyway, I'd do this Mustang Alley again in a flash... great people, cars and all. Only downside - we didn't get to meet up with Greg or Ron.
