289 HiPo connecting rod markings

The connecting rod casting number markings on my two 289 HiPo motors is C3AE-D. Has anyone seen any different numbers?

I have a set in a box marked "289 hipo" that only have 'C3AE' cast in with a large dot after the numbers. They have 3/8 'football' head bolts, with the curved cut for the bolt heads. They appear to have been reworked and the beams and caps are mirror polished. They may just be regular rods that were modified, but they do have the curved relief cuts that match the rod bolt heads.

The C3AE rods with football shape bolt heads are actually Boss 302 rods which are Hipo 289 replacement rods from Ford.
