Wild West National Concord

  • You're right; I tried to get a picture of his car, but he had it judged then left, and didn't show up the next day! It was a nice car. He was across the row from Chip and John, the pair of convertibles in the last pic.

There were also 4 cars with hipo badges that were either A or T codes.

The turquoise one took silver in concourse driven. That one is also a brand new restoration, still getting debugged. That makes at least 3 awards - one gold and two silvers.

I am pretty sure that the turquoise rag top is one that I owned about 15 years ago.

  • Fred - The car belongs to the owner of Mustang Parts House and he had just completed a lengthy restoration. He said that when he bought the car it had been pulled apart for paint and been sitting that way for 20 years. He had it rubbed out and then put in fresh mechanicals, brakes, etc.

  • Dave, I own the Ivy Green car in the last picture, did we talk? I wasn't able to make it back on Sunday, do you know how I can get the judging results? John

  • John,

If you saved your dash card, with your classification number, look on the back and it will have the instructions for getting your judging sheets. MCA only keeps them for a short time, so you need to request them asap. If you don't have the card let me know.

  • Sounds like a great show and all you guys had a busy time trying to find all the "K's" that were there. I wish I could of come but my local club here in Grass Valley had our annual show.

Are all you guys planning on going to the Mustang Plus show in Oct, maybe we can all meet there. They are planning on doing something special for all the K's that show up. Laki
